Back when I was still employed at this PR / Advertising firm, one of my darling colleagues showed off this site where you can print out paper cut-out patterns and then you'll come up with these paper toys; I was amused by it so when my boyfriend and I spotted this cute toy during one of those dinners we had together with other bloggers - it never left my head.

Huge thanks to my boyfriend who searched and went out to get me this collectors toy customized from the original Revoltech Danboard figure from the manga Yotsuba, produced by Kaiyodo and designed by Azuma Kiyohiko (of Azumanga Daioh fame) and Yotsuba Sutazio as one of his Christmas gifts.




Now, I want the bigger version and the one which has this little boy in it! Ah, Isn't it adorable?

A best seller called the ‘The Gem Collection – A Compilation of Wisdom’.

MANILA, 11 December, 2010. - Bestsellers, National Book Stores, Robinsons Galleria, was the venue for a glitzy launch of the bestseller ‘The Gem Collection – A Compilation of Wisdom’. By Joseph T Bismark, Co-Founder & Group Managing Director of the Qi Group of Companies.

The book, which the author maintains “is not really a book but just a compilation of my musings and reflections, brought about by my experiences and insights on random, everyday matters." a compilation of his musings and reflections; has been described by many readers as a refreshing reminder in today’s fast paced world that true wealth stems from a life that is lived in harmony with oneself and the people around us.

It all started off as a series of thought provoking emails and intranet articles by Bismark to his fellow colleagues. These initial postings, aptly titled ‘Gems of Wisdom’ (GOW) soon took on a life of its own as the readers started to share the GOW with their friends and associates outside of the company. Soon, his blog (www.gemsofwisdom.net) ensued and it was only a matter of time before the blog evolved into the book.

Since its launch in June 2010, the bestseller ‘The Gem Collection – A Compilation of Wisdom’ (Published by RYTHM House Publishing) has made its way to avid readers, across continents.
